Although he had to carry a whole nation he still had time to get before God and say “O God show me your glory.” His desire was for God. His continual prayer was, “Let me see more of you. You are so wonderful. I am not content just leading Your flock through the wilderness to the Promised Land. I am not content just leading Your flock through the wilderness to the Promised Land. I am not content merely to see Your great programme for them – I want to know You”. God delights in people like this who are not just interested in what is happening to the Church at large, but are saying, “Oh God I have a personal appetite for You.”
