Our culture treats tolerance as the ultimate virtue. This means on two counts we are in same danger as Corinth of ignoring the cancer of sexual sin. God can use any church that is saved trhough the Gospel, but a church that is truly saved will also take sin seriously. Paul urges us to recognise who we really are through Jesus the Passover Lamb and to live in the light of our new identity in him. “Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast – as you really are.“
