It’s also interesting that Jesus, the head and husband, does the washing up (Eph 5:26) and the laundry (5:27), serves his wife (Rom 15:8), chooses the menu and serves the meal (1 Cor 11:23-5), and does the childcare (Matt 19:13-14).
