God is so gracious that he can and does work even in the middle of the swamp of our unbelief. But the clear message from scripture is simply this: Jesus responded to faith and applauded it whenever he saw it. If we want to be the church that Jesus desired and if we want to sustain it over the long haul, its critical that we get this rock of unbelief out of our hearts
