Love, joy and peace are, we recall, the three fundamental dimensions of the fruit (note singular) of the Spirit. They mutually interpenetrate and inform one another and naturally express themselves in the remainder of that one fruit: “… Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control”.
