I got the reputation around the gym of being the “man of God” or the “preacher man.” Some believers find it irritating to be labeled like that, but I believe part of what we’re called to is being known for our association with Him. The reality is that even people who use those names in a slightly ironic or teasing tone will remember what you stand for, and when they have an issue, they’ll come to you for prayer.
