The first principle to getting out of our present financial bondage is not to get, but to give. If you cringed at that statement, it is the evidence of a wound that must be healed. Our foe has the wisdom of thousands of years of ruling over his dark domain, and he has wisely attacked the most important issues with his biggest weapons. He has taken some of the most important words in Scripture, such as “holiness,” “submission,” and “giving,” and made them repulsive even to Christians. Yet these truths will be recovered by those who overcome.
