Pete Greig
It’s true—almost every prayer book I’ve read has been written by an introvert. As Philip Yancey says, “Most of the great books on prayer are written by ‘experts’—monks, missionaries, mystics, saints. I’ve read scores of them, and mainly they make me feel guilty.” Most prayer books I’ve read have focused on silence and contemplation and quiet time, and that’s fine, but they miss a whole part of the demographic that can’t sit still. “I prefer kinetic prayer,” Pete said. “I like to move when I pray.”
