Christian godliness is not merely a matter of individuals being nice. It is easier to think of oneself as holy when there is no contact with other people. But life within the family and in relationship to children of various ages (including teenagers!) is the greatest test of spiritual progress. The ability to handle the various conflicts that tend to produce divorce is also a test of spiritual maturity.
